Outside of publishing my web to my new server what other
options are available in relation to moving a frontpage
web site to a new server?

None, if you are using any FP components, such as Themes, Shared Borders, Navigation, etc. and want
them to work on the new server.

Well, a carrier Pigeon is definitely not an option.

Seriously
You can publish from server to server using either http:// or ftp://
Or from your machine to the new server.
Normally until the new IP address has propagated throughout the DNS system ftp is the only
option fro the "new" location.

If the hosting account is using a dedicated IP Address, then FP's http mode publish can be used
prior to the DNS server being updated with the domain name pointer.

If the account is using a shared IP Address, then you have to wait until the DNS server is updated
with the domain pointer in order for the FP run-time components to work after publishing.

You just enter the new connection information when you get to the Publish Web
dialogue box. is that what you mean? the only 'option' you have is if you want
frontpage features to work then you must upload to a server with frontpage
extensions for your version of FP.
