Moving Database app to a server

I have a database application that runs from my laptop from scheduled tasks
at 3:00. First problem is that the "hiberate" setting is set to No and thing
still shuts off sometimes before it runs the app. Any ideas on that?

Also so, there is a desire to move the app to a server. The server has been
built to the specs of my predicesor, but the app (also created by my
predicesor) will not run on it. Any ideas on that?

Is it all Access, or Access with VB or some other component? If you want it
to actuall run on the server, yu need Access installed on the server. If
ytou have that, what errors are getting in running it?

It is Access with VB code as well. I know nothing about servers. I am
getting heat about this getting done and I was wondering if there was
something on my end that was not done correctly.

I was only told that the server was set up per previous data analyst's specs
and that the app will not run.

Verify that Access is installed on the server. This is required in order to
run it there.
