Moving emails to personal folders

Just started experiencing following error message when
attempting to move email from inbox to personal folder:
"An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to
load the information service PSTPRX.DLL. Be sure the
service is correctly installed and configured." I have
Win2kPro op sys and have OL2000 installed. My guess error
is related to problems I had installing Roxio Easy CD &
DVD Creator 6 Basic yesterday. Had to remove some
Registry Key items to get that installation completed. I
ran a "Files and Folders" search to find the above file
and it was not detected. Should I try to reinstall OL2000?
Thanks for any help.

PSTPRX.DLL means you are using Outlook 2000 in CW mode,
am I right? This means your profile is damaged.

You need recreate your profile. For this go to Control
Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles-> Add.

If this doesn't work you can always go for the repair ;-)

Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for the help. You are correct, am in CW
mode. When I go to Control Panel->Mail->Show Profiles, it
has "Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings" outlined, then
when I click on Add I get the "Microsoft Outlook Stup
Wizard" with a radio button selected that offers me a
choice of: "Microsoft Exchange Server", and/or a choice
of "Internet Email". Should I select both or just one,
and if just one, which one? I apologize if this is
probably so basic, but I would sure appreciate the
guidance. Thanks again.

If you need to connect to a POP3 server choose Internet E-mail (and if to an
Exchange server choose Exchange).
