Hi,

I am continuing to learn Outlook and BCM, and how to migrate from Outlook
Express and ACT! 6.0.

I'm hoping someone here might offer some advice. I have successfully
installed Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003... the initial
installation must have been corrupted because the Business Tools item in the
menu list was missing. I ended up uninstalling BCM followed by .Net Framework
1.1 and 2.0, reinstalling BCM, and then reinstalling both versions of .Net
Framework. Long process... followed by some peculiar aspects of working with
the Wizard; but, it looks good now. I have also successfully configured
Outlook to be able to send and receive email. I have also been able to import
ACT! 6.0 data into BCM.

I have two questions that I need help with:

1. I used Outlook Express for email previously. All of my email addresses
were in the Outlook Express phone book (they were not included in the ACT!
database). Now that I have imported the ACT! database into Outlook BCM I
would like to add the email addresses from Outlook Express to the contacts
now in BCM (which were imported from ACT!). Is there a way to import them
from Outlook Express' address book into the BCM contacts, or do I need to add
them manually?

2. When I imported information from the ACT! database into Outlook, there
were fields which I was able to remap using the Import Wizard which now don't
appear to be accessible in Outlook. Is there a way to remap fields in either
Outlook or Outlook BCM to utilize the data that was imported? (I am curious
where the imported data is since it is not in the contact information.)

Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

Jeff
