Moving Front Page files

How do I move my web files to another PC? I tried it, but
then I can't access the newly-moved web.

confused

I moved my web to another computer and updated one web page. I have front page extensions turned on at the host. When I went to publish, the process querried every page for publishing. I eventually re-published the whole web which took about two hours. What did I do wrong?
