Moving license to a new computer

I bought a powerbook and am giving the kids my old imac. I'd like to
move Office to the powerbook and remove it from the imac. Am I going
to run into any technical difficulties doing this?

Shouldn't. Run the Remove Office application on the iMac, and install
Office on the PB. If you want to keep your Word Normal template, XL
Personal Macro Workbook, any custom templates or add-ins, etc., save
them separately, and transfer them to the new machine.

Note that, unlike WinOffice, MacOffice doesn't require activation.
