I know this is proboly a simple thing, but i'm new to outlook: How do
you get your mail downloaded into the personal folder named inbox. I
use an SMTP\IMAP to get my e-mail.

IMAP leaves the messages on the server and shows you the server folders. I
don't think there is any method to automatically transfer them to the
Personal Folders file. I don't think rules operate on an IMAP Inbox. You
can, of course, copy or move a message from the IMAP server to the Personal
Folders file.

I don't have access to a recent version of Outlook, but I've been told that
it *is* possible to set up a rule that accomplishes this.
