Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Intel Email Client: imap I'm running Office 2008 Home & Student Edition on an iMac having several accounts that all need to reference & update just the Address Book portion of Entourage. Are there any issues in moving the Entourage db to the "Mcintosh HD/Users/Shared" folder to facilitate this? If so, are there any suggestions/tricks on how to share just the Address Book among several accounts?

Hi,
I'm running Office 2008 Home & Student Edition on an iMac having
several accounts that all need to reference & update just the
Address Book portion of Entourage.

Ouch... the only good way to do so that I could think of would be using
Exchange accounts with shared resources.
You can't share just the address book from an identity,

You could have eerybody use the same identity, but I suspect it's not
what you want.
Are there any issues in moving the
Entourage db to the "Mcintosh HD/Users/Shared" folder to
facilitate this? If so, are there any suggestions/tricks on how to
share just the Address Book among several accounts?

You could move it there, but then you have to alias it back in the
regular location in all accounts and it would in effect share the entire
identity.
You would need to make sure the identity is never accessed by more than
one account at the time (eg: Office app open in different accounts using
fast user switching).
