Moving my Entourage to another computer

I'm going to be working from home for 6 weeks or so after surgery this week and need to establish the same Entourage files I have on my work G5 on my Powerbook laptop at home. Entourage is installed, both systems are OS X 10.4. I tried importing my contacts but didn't get the categories, which I need. And it would be useful to have my Sent, Deleted folders as well as Saved. Can someone tell me how to migrate everything so my home account is exactly the same as work?

Look for the "Microsoft User Data" (MUD) folder inside your Documents
folder inside your home folder on your first machine.

Copy the MUD to the exact same location on your new machine. Be sure
that both versions of Entourage are the same.

Launch Entourage. If it does not recognize your newly copied MUD then
use the Entourage menu --> Switch Identity to select the identity from
your MUD.

Hope this helps!

Are you wanting to merge two Identities or just move over your work
Identity?

File --> Export as Entourage archive (.rge) file will get categories for
messages and contacts but not events, notes and tasks. There are scripts
that will get these items with categories.

Before we go further, we need to know exactly what and how you want to move
your work data.

One last thing....

I would not recommend merge. I would move the work Identity to your Office
2004 Identities folder and use Switch Identity to toggle between your work
and home Identities.
