Moving office xp pro to a new computer

J

Jock

I'm in the market for a new computer and just wanted to make sure I wouldn't
have any problems putting the software I already own, apecifically office xp
pro, onto the new machine. I have the product key.

Thanks, Jock

Generally:
1. If Office XP came preinstalled on your old computer by the
computer manufacturer (OEM version), then you cannot move the
software to another computer.
2. If you purchased a retail version of Office XP separately
from your old computer, then you can move the software to the new
computer.
