Hello,
I have a 5 gig partition on my C drive with WinXP and OfficeXP. The
partition is getting too full with only 1/2 gig free. Is it possible and/or
dangerous to un-install OfficeXP from the C drive and re-install it on
another drive?
Should I even try this?
Thanks,
Bob

David Senior said:Before you uninstall anything make sure you have copied this file:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\data.dat
When you have finished installing it on another drive, copy this file back
to where it was so that you may not need activation. This trick worked
with my pre SP1 version but may not work in post SP patches. But nothing
to lose!
Hope this helps.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no
activation.
I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for
my work.
I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching
rich jerks!
