Moving Onenote "My Notebook" folder to another location

Steve

I am disconnecting my computer from the domain that I am on and therefore
need to move all of the My Documents folders to my local My Documents folder.
This includes the My Notebook folder. However, whenever I do this and then
open OneNote the folders appear in Onenote but the message
"OneNote could not open the location you specified. Make sure you have
permission to open or save files in this location."
I have full access to the folder that I moved the files to so I am assuming
that OneNote adds some additional security? Help....

You moved the folder using Explorer?

Did you also go into Tools | Options | Open and Save and modify the "My
Notebook" path to point to the new location? Until you do that, OneNote
will continue to look at the old location for the top-level My Notebook
folder.
