moving pages inside Word Doc

Win XP HE, Word 2002
Hi,
How do I move pages around in a Word doc without having to cut and paste the
whole page (which tends to interfere with the formatting, etc.)?
Just as in PowerPoint with slides where one can drag and drop them anywhere,
I'd like to be able to cut and insert current page 4 after page 2 for
example....
Any ideas?

Word doesn't work like this, and attempts to force it to think in terms of
pages may or may not be reliable. You can reliably mimic slide-sorting
behavior, however, with judicious use of Outline View. For details, see:

Tx for the tips.
I have not been using the Outline level so far--ever-- and I am not sure I
want to start to learn it for this project.
However, it looks really interesting and a good way to manage documents.
I'll have to check into it some more, whenever I get the chance.
