moving PE to the DMZ - ports and protocols

Chris

I am getting ready to move our 2003 PE server to the DMZ
so our remote folks can access it via dial up or internet.
What specific ports need to be open beside standard 80 and
are there specific protocols beside https/http, tcp/ip i
need to worry about?

Thanks

If you are just going to use Project Web Access remotely, you should only
need to open 80 or 443. I would highly recommend you setup HTTPS if you are
going to open Project Server to the Internet.

If you are going to use Project Pro over the Internet, you will need to open
up port 1433, which is the default SQL client port. However, in our
experience Project Pro over the web is pretty slow and we usually recommend
using Citrix or Windows Terminal Services for remote Project Pro access.
