Hi all,
I currently have two tables in two seperate databases
(Access 97 on Win NT) which I want to merge. One table has
an autonumber ID field which begins at 120000 while the
other has an autonumber ID field beginning at 1000000 and
ending at 1006897. I want to move the lower set of numbers
to the other table and retain the original ID because it
is linked to other records in many other databases. Short
of creating a million records and deleting the unwanted
ones, is there a way merge the two tables while keeping
the IDs intact? All new records can continue on from the
next autonumber, so that's not a problem.
