I tried to add an mp3 file to my slideshow but it seems not working.
The file is ok and I can pay it in my WMP or winamp or real.
I was able to play a midi file but when I try to load this mp3 it dosn't work.
Are there any compatibility trouble with mp3s?

Does it play when you use the player that PowerPoint uses (the ones you tested
don't cound)? If you have Real Player installed, it may have contaminated your
Windows settings. Go to Start > Run and type mplay32.exe and click OK. Then
open your MP3 file and click on the Play icon. Does it play? If not, it will
not play in PowerPoint and you need to read
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/multimedia.htm with special
attention to section 3.

If it plays in mplay32 then the path may be too long and PowerPoint may not play
it. Do you have it stored in My Documents by any chance?
