MP3 IN A POWER POINT PRESENTATION AS BACKGROUND MUSIC

i have tried inserting it as the help suggested. ( insert movie or sound from
file) an icon shows up, but it doesn't play when i start the presentation.

Right click the icon and select Custom Animation. If you are using PowerPoint
2002 or 2003 the item will appear on the Custom Animation task pane to your
right. Left click on it there and a dialog will open. You probably want to set
it to play automatically. There are other settings that you should also
explore.

If that doesn't answer your question, come back and tell us what version of
PowerPoint you are using and what version of Windows.

its most likely its too deep in the windows directory structure..
where is the mp3 file located? My Docs?...if so move it to the desktop
