I am trying to create a PivotTable with the Wizard using a Query as the
source data. The Query is based on two linked queries whose parameters are
retrieved from a form.
I can open the wizard selecting the query in question as the source data. I
can then select the fields I want to include. When Excel pops up and asks me
to customize the PivotTable, the PivotTable Wizard dialog box displays with a
blank worksheet behind it. When I select "Layout" I get the error message
"Problems obtaining data".
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have tried starting the wizard with the Parameter Form open, and also with
the Query open, but it did not work.
