MS Access and performance issue

I face a problem with MS Access 2003, installed in a windows 2004 (sp4) PC.
I run an Access database (or a Word document sometimes). When I am finishing
my job and close the DB, Task Managers shows a process using 99% of CPU, with
the name "MSAccess.exe"
The process continues running, even if I close the DB or the .doc
After an Office 2003 sp2 installations this problem was fixed, but after
installing a new printer started again, and remains, even after uninstalling
the printer.
