What is this error message?? I am now running the Win2k OS with SP4, and
Access 2000 SP-3, continues to crash at random. Never had this problem with
WIN98. Access also randomly just stops responding to the point where I have
to bring up Task Mgr., and end tasks for the database, and application.
Every time the failure occurs, the Access.Lockfile.9 is found in the folder
with the database. In attempt to have the file deleted naturally, I reopen
the database, and close it. Once the lock file has been deleted, I re-open
the database again to continure working. Unfortunately, this problem happens
over and over with different instruction and memory references.
