MS Access on Pocket PC?

Hi all,

Is there a pocket PC which can run MS Access or a pocket version of it? Can
anyone suggest how I might run a small database application on a pocket PC.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Gers,

MS Access does not run on a PocketPC (Pocket Access ONLY runs on handhelds,
like the hp mini laptops, not the PocketPC) but there are several different
solutions you could try.

The best, in my opinion, is to try Visual CE from Syware.

It is very similar to using Access for the PocketPC and it syncs/works well
with Access. Really easy to use and pretty powerful.

the next option is to use SQL CE, which is a PocketPC/embedded version of MS
SQL Server and then program your interfaces with Embedded Visual Basic,
Embedded Visual C or use the tool sin Visual Studio 2003.NET.
