Ms Access throws "This recordset is not updateable. "

We are getting a "This recordset is not updateable. " error in the status bar
of access forms. we have a client application Client.MDB and database
Data.Mdb.
Client.MDB has several forms that uses the tables that are found in the
Data.mdb.
The access forms access the data from through "Attached Tables". It is quite
strange as we dont try to update the data in these forms and we just have
controls that are bound to an access QUERY.

We are using Access 2003 with MDAC 2.8 on Windows XP.
