MS Accounting 2008 - Multiple lines at the Description field

N

NJH

I am migrating from Quickbooks to MS Accounting 2008. When I make an
estimate, invoice, or sales order in QB I can see the full description of
each of the items; on MS Accounting I can only see the first line of each
item's description unless I make a Print Preview of the form. I really need
to write a big description and be able to see it at the main invoice/estimate
windows. How can I set to write and see multi-line descriptions in MS
Accounting 2008? I am still using a demo version.

Hi NJH,

You may want to use the link below to also post in the MS Office Accounting discussion group on this and mention there if you're
going to be using the Express or Professional edition of MS Office Accounting 2008.

Hi Mona,

MS Office Accounting has only two 'flavors' at present, based on the accounting rules/practices of the U.S. and the U.K. If you're
okay with those standards and practices then you may want to check with the folks in the matching Office Accounting discussion
groups through the links below.

Hi! Bob: thank you for your post. I had downloaded Accounting to test it as I
need to maintian accounts from time to time - but the dollar sign is very
confusing as if i get a print out - all the figs will be in $. I am fine
with accounting practices as I need to maintain accounts for my personal use
and for my CA's eyes only - can I transfer the final accounts to Excel and
then change the $ to Rs and then print out the accounts from there. I wanted
to use the software to do my IT returns ending July 31 - so if I can find out
before that great or else I need to find someother software, thanks for your
help anyway. Mona
