MS ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL 2007 SHOULD EMAIL INVOICES AS PDF'S

M

Michael W.

Hi

I think that it would be better to configure Office Accounting Professional
to email items such as emails as PDF's to ensure that they cannot be tampered
with on the client side of the world.

The current configuration that emails it as a Word attachment does not lock
the document and thus it is not tamper proof. This is a problem because it
means that it can be tampered with on the client side.

Should be "are", not "aren't".

Then you need to voice that opinion to Adobe who is blocking Microsoft at every turn from using the .pdf format that Adobe gives away freely to every other corporation to use for their documents.

Silly Milly......Microsoft has that option in Word 2007 - so why isn't it in
Accounting 2007? And, why isn't it configurable as the default method of
sending an invoice?

Epithets are not welcome here. Word's save as .pdf was developed by the Office team. Ask the Small Business team why they did not take advantage of it. Not an Office issue.
