MS Anonymous E-mail Header

Many (most) posts lately to the microsoft.public.x.x forums have a
return e-mail header that reads something like [gibberish]
@anonymous.microsoft--I'm going from memory, and it's actually
something different, but you get the idea.... How do people arrange
for their posts to adopt that header?

The portals at http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx and
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp have the old news
client. But the new Communities portal at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx requires
Passport authentication to post.

They are posting via the web interface to the newsgroups. You can get to
them from

http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?d=1

Please respond to the Newsgroup for the benefit of others who may be
interested. Questions sent directly to me will only be answered on a paid
consulting basis.

Hope this helps,
