MS Apps access from menubar

Hello, everyone. Sorry about the cross-post. Question:
I want to add a toolbar item to allow users to open different MS Apps, like
Word, Excel, etc...What's the best approach? I only created one for MS Word
and created a Macro with RunApp and the path is a network share (a server on
which Office is installed). I don't really like the idea, that's why I am
asking what would be the best approach to accomplish this. I am running
Access 2000. Thank you.

right click any toolbar then click customize.
when the customize box comes up, click the tool bar tab
then click the new buttom. give it a name
click the command tab. on the left, scroll to the bottom
select newmenu. on the right click and drag new menu to
the new toolbar.
sill in the command tab. on the left click all macros.
on the right click and drag your macro to the new menu.
when done close the customize box and dock the new tool
