MS Excel Shared on the Web

Environment: MS XP Pro, Front Page 2003, MS Excel 2003

Prob: I password protected a spreadsheet so that certain users have
access to it. The problem is that users can bring it up, and even
modify it. The problem is that they cannot save their changes. Is
there any way to do this?

Thanks for any tips.

With or without a password (on the .xls) users can't save anything back to your server w/o logging in w/ at least author rights
under FP
- all they can do is save as to a local folder of their own

Thanks for the respoinse. In my research, I am seeing recurring
references to IFRAME extensions that allow users to update a
spreadsheet from a browser without FP installed. If you have any idea
what and how to use IFRAME Extensions for this task -- please help!

Thank you,

There is no such thing as "IFrame extensions"
