MS Graph in 2007 : cannot set custom charts as "default"

Nicolo

Dear MS team,

My company is using both 2003 and 2007 version and we are using a lots of
charts in our presentations.
For compatibility reasons, (to keep graph formats and colors schemes) we are
investigating the ability to use MS graph by default under 200è version (as
using both Excel and MS graph goes to chaotic situations)

However, I would like to report a bug,
Under PPT 2007 version (runing under Vista) MS Graph still proposes the "set
as default chart" button. but the application does not record the chart set
if it is a custom type (even though it displays a message specifying that the
default chart will be changed). it seems that only standard charts can be set
as default charts.

we are stuck with graph charts that do not correspond to our templates and
to the Calibri 20 font....

Could you please fix this or at least inform us on what to do ???
