MS Help appears on screen in extremely large font - can't view it

When MS Help and several other applications open, the font size is so large
that the text cannot be read. The entire screen is filled with only a few
words which makes reading the entire message virtually impossible. Any
thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Hold down the CTRL button on the keyboard and rotate the mouse wheel to
adjust the size.
