ms office 2000 professional sr-1 download rejected the installati.

A security update for EXCEL in MS Office 2000 Professional SR-1 would not
complete the installation, as it rejected the installation CD as not being
valid because it couldn't find "data1.msi". I did a search of the CD and did
find a "data1".

Not sure what to do.

Hi, confusedlady,

data1 is a common file for several Office applications. If you have Works,
Publisher, FrontPage, or other Office family applications, it's probably
looking for one of those CDs. Try a different one to resolve the error.
