It's been awhile since I've had to uninstall Office 2000, and the
my old memory is a bit fuzzy. Two thoughts though:
1. I'm not sure whether you will be able to uninstall Office
2000 Premium without the CD... the uninstall program in some
Office versions will prompt you to insert the CD before it will
let you uninstall (this is to prevent accidental uninstalls).
2. If you uninstall Office 2000 Premium, then it's possible
that all of your Office 2000 programs will be uninstalled,
because Office 2000 Premium includes everything in Office 2000
Professional. If this happens, then you'll have to reinstall
Office 2000 Professional from your CD. You might want to back up
all of your data (templates, custom dictionaries, autocorrect
files, Outlook .pst files, etc.) before proceeding.
I suspect that behind these roundabout "are they the same" and
"can I uninstall Premium" questions, you have a burning question
that you're not asking for some reason. But I can't read your
mind...
