MS OFFICE 2003 cannot remove the 1/8" white Border around my color

Cannot Remove 1/8" White Border when printing in Word and Publisher with a
colored background. Have as a printer the HP 2710 and HP 7550..

Just a guess but are the printer properties set to full bleed?
