how can I merge Filemaker pro db with word using Mac Tiger? It worked just
fine using the old Office 98 on the former operating system but I can't get
it to work now.

You might be better off posting your question over in one of the mac.office
groups.

You're right, it doesn't. But Mac products have their own groups, so those
really are better places to post Mac questions -- if only because the poster
stands a better chance of getting a more accurate answer there.

And since I happen to have this page open right now, I'll post a link to
those Mac groups.

I wish I could help you more but I have only a teeny, tiny bit of experience
with a Mac. I'll stick with Windows. ;-)

Welcome.

I just happened to be on the Mactopia page, so it was easy for me to provide
a link. I also wish I was more Mac-savvy! Heck, I usually wish I were more
PC-savvy, for that matter!

I know the feeling - but would we ever "know enough"? To devote the time
we'd need, we'd have to give up things like loved ones, fun, sleep, etc.
