The windows xp pro sp3 claims Microsoft Office Compatiblity Pack for
Word, Power Point and Excel 2007 was installed.
Also the SP2 for compatibility pack.

However, the articles regarding compatibility pack and its service pack
1 in no way refer to the compatibility pack sp2.
What is the reason?

This is a users group not Microsoft. SP refers to a Service Pack which are a
set of updates to the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack not a new
Compatibly Pack.

Sure, it's a user forum.
Question asked, because some user may know the answer.

Clear, SP refers to Service Pack, I never and no where claimed this was
the same as Compatibility Pack.
Question is, why Windows presents the availability of SP2 for
compatibility pack but such is not available on the Microsoft's download
portal?

No articles to Compatibility Pack make reference to SP2.
SP1 only is known within microsoft articles.
Why is the SP2 for compatibility pack known from windows xp point of view?
