MS Office document imaging does not recognize scanner, everthing .

When I open MS Office document imaging and go to the scanner selection window
the drop down box does not list my scanner (Epson 3170) every other program
on my computer recognizes and uses the scanner without any problems.

Re-install Office using the Custom option and make sure that you specify
that the scanner software is included on the installation. I'm using Office
2000 standard version and that feature is available so unless you're using
the student version, you shouldn't have any problems.
