"MS Office Document Imaging File" Type (.tif) Problems

I am sending .tif files to a customer for their image storage system. They
are having problems and telling me only that these files need to be in one of
the following formats:

Banded TIFF
Group 3 TIFF (G3)
Group 4 TIFF (G4)

I cannot find any information on what format the "MS Office Document Imaging
File" Type is... any clues?
