MS Office not able to retain customized commands

Hi ,

I have a user who faced this issue :

whatever customized setting he has done for MS Office (2002) , once he
exited the program and logins again , it comes back with the default buttons
& commands excluding those he added just now

is there any settings issue ?

Is Adobe Acrobat 7.0 installed on the computer? If yes, then the Acrobat 7.0
Create Adobe PDF toolbar add-in for Word prevents Word from automatically
saving changes to the normal.dot template (which is where toolbar
customizations are stored). See

the problem.
