MS Office Picture Manager - how do I capture a zoomed in image?

hi there

With Picture Manager, how do I zoom in to do a close up of something on a
pic and capture the image "close up"?

For example I have a picture where I have a group of people in the distance.
when I zoom in to see a close up of the people how do I save the picture so
it's saved as the close-up, zoomed part of the image only?

Maybe it's another programme other than Picture Manager that I need to do
this in?

many thanks

kind regards

That's the ticket ...

Try Irfanview:
http://www.irfanview.com

It's free for non-commercial use, and will let you crop pictures (don't forget
to work on a COPY of your original or save the cropped version to a new name).

And it does, at last count, 1,254,643 other useful things with images. But in
the time it took me to type that, the author's probably added 2 or 3 more.
