MS Office Pro 2007 Trial

Hi! I just downloaded and installed MS Office Pro 2007 Trial version and
when I went to run MS Word I was told that the trial period has expired.
It's supposed to run for 60 days. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks!!!

The only problem I can think of is that you once had a trial of office
2007 on you system which expired and now you thought that by installing
it second time you will get another 60 days for free!! Right? Is this
correct?

No. I tried downloading and installing it two days ago but I couldn't get it
to work so I did a system restore and re-downloaded and re-installed it
yesterday. I have never had a chance to try it out yet but apparantly MS
thinks I have. I'd like to call MS to resolve the problem but I'm not
willing to pay $35 or $45 to have them correct the problem so that I can have
the "free" trial.

Hi Nnicko,

Use Start=>Search to locate the (possibly hidden) file
opa12.dat and recycle it, then restart then try to activate again.
