MS Office Product ID Code

I am changing from one c'puter (running windows me) to
another (running windows xp) and I am trying to transfer
microsoft office from one c'puter to the other...I have my
mircosoft office cd to download, but no sign of the
product code...can I pull this ID # from the present
version I have on my original c'puter?
