MS Office Project has stopped working error message

Hi Everyone,

Please help me out for below mentioned error.

When attempting to open an existing project (.mpp file) project crashes with
the following error:

MS Office Project has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

Is this unique only to this schedule, all others open fine, when you say MPP,
are you opening this in Server or Standalone? You posted this on Server
instead of General so, let's assume in Server. Can you open it from Computer
instead of connecting to Server, will it open this way. As an MPP, is it from
a really old version, 98 or 2000?
