I have MS Vista and a old 3 license MS Office S&T 2003. I have only installed
1 of the licenses' and I have been trying to install another one on my
laptop. When in put it in the cd rom, nothing happens at all! I have done a
full diagnoses on the laptop and cd rom. All others are fine. Is there a
limited time on the license? Like they are only good for one year? I can not
figure this out.

It's probably caused by your laptop settings. Just open the CD in My
Computer, and Double-click Setup.

The licenses are good "forever."

Have you uninstalled all trial versions of Office plus activation assistant
that may have been installed on your "Vista" laptop? If not do so and
reboot the computer.

When the above is done, put your disk in the CD drive and double click on
Computer. When it opens find and double click on the CD/DVD drive which
should have the label OFFICE 11. If the setup doesn't start automatically
(as it does non my machine) it should open the listing of the programs on
the disk.

Look for a program that says SETUP (should be two of them) and if you have
hide extensions for known file types turned off you will see the .exe
extension there. Double click on that file. Setup should start. If hide
extensions is not turned off and you only see two SETUP files look for the
one that is 408 KB in size.

If this doesn't start the setup program, post back with any error messages
that occur and exactly what steps you took and what happened when you took
those steps.

(Let us know either way if it works or not.)
