MS Office update runs repeatedly

I downloaded and ran MS Office 2003 SP3 and now everytime I boot up my
computer running MS Vista, attempt to open a MS Office file, or start any
application, configures MS Office 2003 and updates MS Office 2003. However,
whenever I go to the Windows Update or Office Update sites, MS Office 2003 is
up to date. This is getting really old, really fast. Anyone have any ideas?
