MS Office updates appropriate for Works Suite 2004?

Are MS Office updates (especially security) appropriate for MS Works Suite
2004. I know they are related but different programs.

MS Works Suite includes MS Word 2002. Word 2002 shares
common files with MS Office XP, so the updates recommended
through either http://officeupdate.com or http://update.microsoft.com
would be applicable. You may also want to check the MS Works
site http://works.msn.com to see what updates are available for
the core Works apps.
