MS Office XP Std (Word & Excel) won't Install

I had an old P1 with W/98, then added MS Office XP Std,
V2002. Now I have an HP P4 with XP Home, and MS Office
won't install. The CD just lays there. Any advice?

Do you encounter any error message when you attempt to install Office?
If so what is the exact error message?
