MS Outlook blocks Access db

What do I have to do to send an Access db to Outlook. The help section
says files with .mdb extension are level one security risk and are
blocked.

Thanks in advance

Zip it. If you need a zip/unzip utility, try WinZip (www.winzip.com) but
Windows XP has built-in support for the Zip format, which it calls
"compressed folders". In Windows XP, just right-click the MDB and choose
Send To, then Compressed Folder.

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

The database is on a Win98 machine and zipping is cumbersome. I can't
believe some setting changes in Outlook will not end the block. Another
reason to stay with Netscape.

Thanks again

Given that zipping a database will typically reduce its size 60-70%, it's
really a good idea to zip it whether you like doing that or not.
