However if your asking can I use OL for *my* hotmail account the answer is
not unless you have a premium ie paid for hotmail account.

Sure. My Hotmail account receives mail from senders using Outlook with no
problem.

I suspect that's not the question you meant to ask, however. Is your
question really, "Is it possible to use Outlook as a client to access a
Hotmail account?" The answer to this is, "Yes, for a while." If you have
an existing free Hotmail account and you have Outlook 2002 or 2003, then it
should work for the near-term future. Soon, though, MSN is eliminating
HTTP-WebDAV access to existing free Hotmail accounts and has already
eliminated it for new free Hotmail accounts. If you pay for a Hotmail Plus
account, then you'll be able to access it from Outlook.
