MS OUTLOOK

I

Have changed from OExpress to above (with help from the good guys here!).
Have activated MS Outlook and can use things like the calendar etc. Have
also managed to import address book etv...Yippee

But, for some reason, cannot send or receive e mail, keeps asking me for my
password which it then rejects. Have been in touch with ISP, all working OK.
This is the final hurdle to get over...!

In Outlook re-check the properties for your ISP account. If you entered
your ISP server information manually check for proper case, use of comma
vice period or extra spaces. Also, look for boxes referring to
authentication for login and servers. Some ISPs require authentication;
others do not. If you have a authentication box checked when it should not
be checked, you can get rejections. If you do have a authentication box
checked, try clearing the box.

Also, If you have your anti-virus program scanning email, try turning the
scanning off.
