MS Photo Editor in Office 2003

N

Neil

It seems to be missing from the tools section of Office 2003.

Has it been discontinued or is it somwhere else?

Not a sophisticated editor I know, but quick loading and very simple
to use where limited features are required.

Hi Neil,

MS Office Photo Editor was discontinued after
the Office XP edition. In Office 2003 you
have the MS Office Picture Manager under
Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office Tools

You can still use MS Office Photo Editor
from an earlier edition with Office 2003.
You may also want to have a look at the
free-for-personal-use package at
http://www.irfanview.com/english

Thanks Bob

I have downloaded the Irfanview editor - it is most impressive.

I'd still like to be able to load MS Photo Editor from an earlier
version.

I don't want to load all the other shared files that are installed
with Office. What files would I need just to load MS Photo Editor?

I like the simplicity that Photo Editor offers, like making a colour
transparent, printing, changing resololution, cropping, etc

Thanks

Neil
