Photo Editor is not included with Office 2003. It was replaced with
Picture Manager 2003.

As this article states, Manager works fine if all you want to do is lighten
or crop. Pretty much thats all I want to do most of the time. WHen I want
complicated stuff I use Photoshop but I dont want that as my default. Problem
is ...I have lost manager. I can bring it up as a separate program, but I get
Paint whenever I want to edit a picture. Ihave XP professional with office
2003, and I just want Paint removed as the default editing program

Well, you can right click on them, click Open With and setup a new
default. However, because you may want to occasionally swap out which
app you use...you might want to check out this article Greg (hubby)
wrote. By simply adding EXE shortcuts to your SendTo dir, you can then
easily right click and pass any file to whichever app you want at that
time. I use this all the time for all my graphic apps, as well as my
various Word versions. Great for tossing any file to any app as
needed.

Hope it helps...
